[Looks like Thomas may have fudged his age down to 30 - possibly because he was marrying a 16 year old; actual age 39/40. - SJL]

Lena was born in Ontario, her Father in Eng (!) and her Mother in "Tub" [Quebec?]

Thos, Lena, and Malcolm can read and write English.
NB Thos claiming 1844 as birth date.
